The Classic TimeFrame With Luxurious Sound
Raw Power and Crystal Clarity
The DCM TFE200 is a 3-way tower speaker that is capable of delivering up to 200 watts RMS and has an impedance of 6Ω. The beauty of the TFE200 begins with the cabinet construction. DCM uses a high quality 3/4" medium density fiberboard (MDF) design for the enclosure. This durable material is exceptionally strong and reduces resonance in the enclosure so you only hear true, high-fidelity sound with minimum distortion. The front baffle is a full 1" MDF piece that protects the speakers and ensures the ultimate in sound quality.
The unit features a dual 6.5" woofer, single 6.5" midrange driver, and 30mm tweeter design. The dual 6.5" woofers incorporate glass fiber cones that have excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio enabling them to deliver ultra-low frequency sound reproduction from a cabinet speaker. The 6.5" midrange driver uses a Kevlar cone that is durable and designed to reproduce frequencies otherwise lost with inferior speakers. The 30mm Teteron dome tweeter is designed to deliver crystal clear highs including vocals that bring music and movies to life.
The high power handling of the TFE200, 200-watts RMS, can be properly harnessed by taking advantage of its bi-amp capability. The terminals on the back of the speaker are nickel plated binding posts and when you first unpackage these speakers you will notice a jumper linking the upper and lower terminals. In this mode, a single speaker connection will power the speaker perfectly for surround sound systems, but when removed you can connect the front channel to one set of terminals and the rear channel to the lower and take advantage of all the power in an all channel stereo application.
